About the Position

As a Deputy Head of Nursing Unit, you will be both a leader and a nurse: 30% managerial duties and 70% clinical work. You will play a central role in planning, operations, and patient safety work – and substitute for the head of the nursing unit when necessary. You will work closely with an experienced team consisting of the head of the nursing unit, two deputy heads, and medically responsible doctors.

About HIA

HIA has eight care places, four of which are for cardiac intermediate care (HIMA). Here, our most critically ill patients receive advanced treatments such as non-invasive ventilation (NIV), arterial needles, and inotropic medications. You will participate in emergency alarms, STEMI alarms, and sometimes accompany the cardiac team on emergency missions. Care is provided in modern single rooms with a high nurse-to-patient ratio – two nurses and one nursing assistant are responsible for four patients.

• Is a licensed nurse with several years of experience in emergency care

About the Operation

The Cardiology Clinic is one of Sweden's largest in terms of the number of employees and patients.
